The first step to build your team is to find out which precinct your home resides within. Then find out who your elected Central Committee member is. If you are building the team you are taking the role of Precinct Support Organizer (PSO) for your precinct. Do not take this role lightly, you must maintain motivation and place your fellow precinct members above yourself.
Your Precinct Support Team (PST) needs motivated and interested members to function properly. No one takes your liberty more seriously than yourself. If you do not act to save yourself, no one else will. Your neighbors are your best chance for success. Reach out and build your base by educating each other on the rules of the game.
Your precinct representative is also one of your neighbors. They have an interest in your shared location just as much as you do. A Precinct members contact disclosure is only their address. Use this to your advantage and make a personal contact. The PST is the relationship of communication. We are here to first support our representation as they maintain transparency and in turn allow us to keep them accountable to their constituents (us). Our end goal is to be the lynch pin between the people and their representation by reconnecting those dead lines of communication.
Republican Central Committee meetings are held bi-monthly. Work to establish a meeting with your precinct member to discuss recent events and the needs of your region. Do this through email, phone, or in-person gatherings. In the spirit of relations, many representatives have never had an organized coalition of constituents motivated to back them. By doing this you may empower them to fight for you.
The Precinct Support Team (PST) leader is the Precinct Support Organizer (PSO). The PSO reaches out to the precinct member, organizes meetings, and relays communications to the other members of the PST. The PSO should maintain a roster and contact information of each member. Significant information and inquiries should be relayed to the PSN coordinator or co-coordinator. Quarterly meetings of the PST are organized by the PSN coordinator or as often as the PST requests.
As members of the community step forward the teams will grow. The more organized a PST is, the more effective the team will be at establishing its goals of representative transparency and accountability. Welcome to the Precinct Support Network.
